Beneficiary designation | New campaign to promote plan member peace of mind
Designating or updating beneficiaries is an important step. That’s why we are launching a new campaign to encourage group retirement savings plan members to designate their beneficiary(ies) or to verify whether their designation still reflects their current situation.
A marriage, a separation, the birth of a child or any other life event may affect their choices and warrant a review of their designation. Up-to-date beneficiary designation can provide peace of mind, knowing that savings will be passed down according to the member’s wishes upon their death.
Whether they need to designate their beneficiary(ies) or update their existing designation, members can complete this process in just a few minutes on their own through My Client Space or the iA Mobile app.
On September 24, we will be sending out a related newsletter to our subscribers. Our Client Relationship Managers will also encourage plan sponsors to roll out the campaign within their organizations and will provide them with an email (French version) to send to members.
An article on the same topic will also be published on the education website.
