After more than 18 years with MFS Investment Management, Kevin Beatty will retire from the firm effective September 30, 2021, relinquishing his portfolio management duties on the strategy and his role as co-chief investment officer (co-CIO) of Equity for the Americas, at that time. 

Since the change is planned a long time in advance, consistent with MFS’ commitment to a smooth and transparent succession process, and because Mr. Beatty will continue to contribute to the process even after the change, we believe it will have no material impact on the fund’s management and are confident the fund’s management team will continue to provide value to our clients.
