iAtoday
Starting August 1, 2023, we will be implementing some changes to enhance our operations and ensure that we offer your clients a convenient and intuitive digital experience.
In our commitment to cost-efficiency and environmental sustainability, we have made the decision to discontinue the printing and mailing of group insurance plan documents, such as booklets and billing statements.
Rest assured that your clients, and their plan members, will continue to have access to their documents, including their booklet, anytime in My Client Space. Billing statements will also be accessible in My Client Space.
Additionally, as part of streamlining our payment processes, we will no longer be accepting payments by cheque. As you know, we no longer accept payments by cheque for new clients since last January.
We will now be asking your clients to enrol in pre-authorized debit, our preferred payment method, to pay their premiums or charges. Please note that your clients will benefit from a grace period and will have until November 1, 2023, to change their payment method.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we make these important changes. Our focus remains on delivering outstanding value to your clients and an excellent plan member experience.
A communiqué will be sent to group insurance plan administrators on July 24; this communiqué will also be posted in My Client Space.
