Group Benefits
and Retirement Solutions
For the fourth year in a row, we will be taking part in the 1,000 km challenge of the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie (GDPL) from June 11 to 14, 2026. Through this impressive challenge, our Group Benefits and Retirement Solutions team will channel its energy and passion into a cause that brings us all together: the health and wellbeing of young people.
More than just a sporting feat, the 1,000 km challenge is a platform for raising awareness. For a few days, hundreds of cyclists become ambassadors for living healthy lifestyles among their friends, family and colleagues.
Our participation is part of our commitment to being present and engaged in our communities by supporting initiatives that yield tangible and lasting results.
Cycling to promote healthy lifestyle habits
Five members of our team will take on the 1,000 km challenge. Once again this year, we are proud to support the Petits-Explorateurs school in Longueuil, which will directly benefit from the funds raised.
In 2025, the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie raised over $2.97M to fund concrete projects aimed at improving health and wellbeing for young people.
Inspired to support the team?
You can support the cause by visiting our team’s page on the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie website and making a donation. Every donation counts. Thanks to all those who give their support.
This initiative is being led by the Group Benefits and Retirement Solutions cycling team, made up of:

- Alexis Deschênes, Analyst, Medical Underwriting
- Anthony Ferrarini, Manager, Data Management
- Marianne Livernois, Underwriter, Medical Underwriting

Driven by their commitment to solidarity, challenging boundaries and community involvement, the team members are geared up to push their limits and go the distance for young people.
