The Canadian Equity Value Fund, which is scheduled to close on August 28, 2020, will see its mandate change in the short term.

No impact on your Group Savings and Retirement clients

As previously mentioned in the May 7 edition, the money invested in the Canadian Equity Value Fund will be transferred automatically to the Dividend Fund on August 28th. The Dividend Fund is already a part of our standard platform. It will be added to the fund offer of clients who have a custom offer on July 14, 2020, unless we receive instructions as to a different receiving fund before this date.

Plan sponsors whose fund lineup includes the Canadian Equity Value Fund will receive an email or letter in the coming days to inform them of the change to the mandate of this fund. The information will also be sent to plan members in mid-July along with the scheduled fund lineup review communication.
