According to the World Health Organization (WHO), more than one in six people (17.5%) are affected by infertility. For those affected, beginning or expanding a family often involves complex, lengthy and costly procedures such as fertility treatments, surrogacy or adoption.
Our three family support coverages provide essential assistance to group insurance plan members by reimbursing some of the expenses, care and drugs associated with:
- Conception
- Adoption
- Surrogacy
À la carte coverages for more flexibility
Our Adoption, Fertility and Surrogacy coverages are offered à la carte, and can be added to the group insurance plan according to each organization's equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) strategies.
For added convenience, we offer a flexible formula that allows organizations to choose the maximum amounts for each coverage.
In addition to family support coverage, we also offer gender affirmation coverage. For more information on our inclusive coverages, see our brochure.
If you have any questions or know any groups who would like to add these coverages to their plan, contact your Account Executive. We will be sending out a communiqué to group insurance plan administrators on April 22.
Group Benefits and Retirement Solutions: a comprehensive offering Our flexible, intuitive and easy-to-manage solutions create real value and support the diverse needs of organizations.
