Once again this year, many Canadians will be entitled to a tax refund.
At a time of high inflation and a difficult economic climate, saving is a real challenge for many people, but a tax refund can be an effective lever to help them save more, without any effort.
A communication campaign to support clients
To help group retirement savings plan members make the most of their tax refund, we are rolling out a communications campaign over the next several months based around the article “5 smart ways to use your tax refund.”
The idea behind the campaign is to show people that they can easily turn this one-yearly extra cash into a lasting financial boost.
We have a number of communication initiatives planned, including newsletters and messages in My Client Space, which we will start releasing soon and continue until the end of the summer.
Supporting clients in improving their financial literacy
With the wellbeing of our group plan members always top of mind and with the goal of giving them the best tools possible to allow them to make informed decisions about their finances, this campaign reflects our commitment to helping clients develop good savings habits.
