Because of the pandemic, virtual meetings have become commonplace and the use thereof has only continued to increase. Telemedicine is part of this movement and is more and more the preferred solution in the long term, to facilitate quick 24/7 access to a document and to unburden the healthcare system.
A year ago, iA Financial Group partnered with Dialogue, a Canadian leader in telemedicine, to offer practical, effective and recognized service to its group insurance clients.
Plan members who have access to Dialogue can:
- Quickly access a doctor for minor problems that do not require an in-person visit or for a follow-up
- Obtain or renew a prescription or blood tests, and have prescriptions delivered at no cost
- Be referred to a specialist, if needed
Although meeting with a doctor in person is sometimes necessary, it’s possible to virtually treat up to 70% of minor medical problems. This is a significant gain in time and efficiency for plan members!
Dialogue can be added to the supplemental health insurance coverage. This service is a strong plus for any plan sponsor who wants to provide a comprehensive range of benefits to its members.
A communiqué will be sent on May 25 to group insurance plan administrators.
