Paramedical services | Eligibility ending for naturopathic services offered by a provider group

Group Insurance July 17, 2025

We regularly review the services offered by healthcare providers, associations, and groups to ensure they meet our standards of professional practice.

Accordingly, please be advised that naturopathic treatments provided by members of the Interveners and Therapists Group in Complementary Medicine (Regroupement des Intervenants et Thérapeutes en Médecine Complémentaire) will no longer be covered as of September 1, 2025.

As a result, expenses incurred for naturopathic care provided by members of this group will no longer be eligible for reimbursement. Plan members can still visit these health practitioners for treatment; however, their services will no longer be reimbursed through the group insurance plan.

Transition period

To support a smooth transition, we will reimburse naturopathic care costs from members of this group if incurred by August 30, 2025. Claims for services dated September 1, 2025, or later will be denied.

Verifying provider eligibility

We encourage all plan members to verify the eligibility of their healthcare providers by using the Provider search tool, available in My Client Space and iA Mobile.

Read the communiqué (French version) and communication to plan members (French version), which we will be sending to group insurance plan administrators on July 21.
