As announced last May and in the July 15 email, we will soon be introducing a number of enhancements to ATTITUDE portfolios, our life cycle investment solution.
The main changes are:
- Reducing the number of risk profiles from five to three
- Redefining the glide path
- Redefining the asset allocation
- Reassessing the underlying funds
In essence, these improvements are intended to maintain optimal diversification and better protect plan members in a constantly evolving economic landscape.
Impact on your clients
No action is required from your clients who offer ATTITUDE portfolios. Changes will be made automatically in two phases: at the end of September and at the end of December. We will continue to rebalance portfolios at the end of each quarter, as we do currently. However, we will make all profile changes on September 19, 2025.
All of these changes were communicated to plan sponsors on August 11, and to plan members in the following days.

You can read the following documents to learn more about these improvements:
- Investment Update: Outlines all of the improvements made to the portfolios.
- Portfolio Composition: Outlines the underlying funds and their allocation by category and profile.
The ATTITUDE portfolios are the ideal turnkey investment solution for people who are seeking a diversified, professional investment strategy for managing their savings. ATTITUDE portfolios evolve automatically based on each individual’s target retirement period and risk tolerance. We believe these improvements to the ATTITUDE portfolios will ensure that plan members continue to benefit from one of the best life cycle solutions available in Canada. |
